A micro enterprise in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team in Arusha on 3-year fixed term contract. The role will be responsible for creating, measuring, and evaluating on annual budgets for Demand (Marketing), Indirect costs, Raw Materials, MRO - Machines repairs and operations, Packaging and Logistics. This role will have a team of 7 individuals reporting to them. This company values an entrepreneurial spirit and honesty. The role will include duties such as:

• Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies
• Develop and drives the identification, design, governance and analysis of supply chain policies, processes, standards, methods, systems, controls, and implements best practice changes to improve buying or procurement policies and procedures
• Master the company’s ERP system to produce insightful business analytics related to the manufacturing facility and distribution centers and develops management reports to improve buying efficiencies
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
• ·Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• BCom
• Registered with the procurement board
• 5 or more years’ experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry
