RESTOCAFE is a food court located Kaunda Drive in Oyster Bay which is due to open February 2024

The food court includes three main offers:

-         Coffee & bakery

-         Fast food (burgers, pizza…)

-         Steakhouse (meat and fish)

The three offers share a sitting area and the management is the same overall. Therefore, the job of Procurement and Logistics Manager position covers the three offers.

The Procurement & Logistics Manager will report to the General Manager.

The Procurement & Logistics Manager is responsible for the relationships with all food, packaging and hygiene products suppliers. The Manager’s mission is that all the necessary ingredients are always kept healthy and in a sufficient stock for the use of the kitchen. Additionally, the Manager will be the direct assistant to the General Manager in daily tasks.

The missions will be as follow:

-         Based on the ingredients needed for the menu defined by the executive chef, identify food suppliers and negotiate with them (quality, price, delivery) for the supply of the restaurant

-         Organize and schedule the food deliveries daily, weekly or monthly depending on the type of products

-         Confirm deliveries quantity to the team and alert if there is a missing product or similar

-         Procure unscheduled and last minute orders if needed

-         Based on the chefs recommendations, organize the storage of food products

-         Monitor closely the due dates of food products and prioritize the use of the stock

-         Keep track of the invoices received from the suppliers and handover to the cashiers

-         Assist the General Manager in her daily tasks

Required profile/experience:

-         A network of potential food suppliers

-         An experience in the food industry

-         Experience and ability to negotiate with suppliers

-         Ability to work with various stakeholders

-         Ability to use Excel

-         Ability to speak Kiswahili and English

-         Organized person

-         Honest person

-         Tanzanian

-         Driving license mandatory

Starting date: as soon as possible

Salary: includes a fixed part and a variable part

Working hours: 8 hours from Monday to Friday, 5 hours on Saturday, rest day is Sunday
