| DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | i. Perform all physiotherapy duties in hospitals related to various diseases including children's diseases, the elderly, and all those admitted. ii. Examine the patient, plan treatment according to the patient's problem and monitor the patient's condition. iii. Provide medical advice and refer the patient to other health cadres according to the patient's problem. iv. Provide and manage physiotherapy, rehabilitation and treatment education and improve physical and joint health in the Districts and Regions or his/her area of work. v. Provide rehabilitation counseling to patients in the community (CBR). vi. Maintain statistics on physiotherapy patients and people with disabilities and use them as directed in the principles of MTUHA. vii. Evaluate physiotherapy and rehabilitation services in his/her area of work. viii. Manage and direct subordinate staff. ix. Prepare plans and budget estimates for physiotherapy services in the area of work. |
| QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | Recruitment of holders of a BSc. in Physiotherapy degree from Government-recognized Universities who have completed an "Internship" and obtained Full Registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council. |
