About the Role

As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications and backend systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers to build scalable and secure software solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write clean, well-structured, and efficient PHP code.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
  • Integrate third-party services and data sources.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design cohesive, user-focused solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest improvements and new approaches.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer with strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
  • Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience working with MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
