Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and safety, monitoring drug interactions and side effects, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to determine the best course of treatment for patients. The Pharmacist will also be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining records, and complying with all local and national regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmaceutical regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications and managing inventory
• Experience in dispensing medications and counseling patients
• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
• Registration with the Tanzania Pharmacy Council
• Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is a plus
