We are looking for a Payments Executive in Dodoma, Tanzania for our client to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data and responses related to their banking and payment service partners. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and external providers, managing various administrative tasks from start to finish, and ensuring compliance with standards and business requirements. The successful candidate will ensure that all information is current, accurate, securely shared, and stored, ensuring the reliability of information.

Your key job responsibilities as the Payments Executive in Dodoma, Tanzania will include:

  • Oversee account balances and customer activity for accuracy.
  • Review account statements to ensure all charges are accurate and appropriate.
  • Prevent, detect, and investigate fraud and promotion abuse.
  • Interact with platform providers, payment providers, and financial institutions to resolve payment issues.
  • Monitor AML and KYC triggers related to customer deposits and withdrawals.
  • Monitor platform statuses, including downtime and maintenance.
  • Perform manual balance adjustments for missing deposits and withdrawal refunds.
  • Prepare reports on collections activity, payment processing trends, and financial status.
  • Support Key Account Managers and Customer Support on payment issues.

Requirements

Requirements for this Payments Executive job in Dodoma, Tanzania:

  • Experience in payments, finance, or business, with relevant qualifications.
  • High level of discretion and trustworthiness.
  • Proven success in payments management, preferably within the online gaming and gambling industry or related sectors.
  • Understanding of the online gaming and gambling market, including regulatory requirements, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other local languages is a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office literacy and strong Excel proficiency.
