Job Description:

SP Japan, a prestigious car showroom, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Operation Officer to handle vehicle importation procedures in collaboration with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and clearing companies. As an Operation Officer at SP Japan, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth importation process and compliance with customs regulations. Fluency in English, knowledge of customs procedures in Tanzania, proficiency in MS Office software (especially Excel), an up-to-date CV are essential for this position. A valid motorbike license is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the vehicle importation process, ensuring adherence to TRA regulations and requirements.
• Collaborate with clearing companies and TRA officials to facilitate the seamless importation of vehicles.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely documentation required for customs clearance.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all importation activities, including customs documentation, invoices, and payments.
• Monitor and track importation progress, promptly resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient logistics and timely delivery of imported vehicles.
• Stay up-to-date with customs regulations, tariffs, and procedures pertaining to vehicle importation.
• Provide support and guidance to colleagues and clients regarding importation procedures.
• Utilize MS Office software, particularly Excel, to generate reports, track data, and manage importation documentation.
• Safely operate a motorbike for transportation purposes, as necessary.

• Possession of a valid motorbike license.
