Job Summary

Our client, whose operations are based in Arusha, is looking for an experienced and hardworking Operations Manager to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and to oversee their camps and lodges operations from the headquarters

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, Hotel Management, or any related field.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Good Managerial skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with high pressure.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Daily Communication with the Camp Managers about the camp’s assets, cleanness, and maintenance.
• Making proper arrangements and supervising weekly camp supplies from the office to the camp and receiving empties from the camps.
• Liaison with respective technicians responsible for maintenance and repair of camp equipment.
• Managing the movement of staff according to company policy.
• Have good administration background and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
• Be highly reliable and organized in decision-making.
• Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
