Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of our operations, including procurement, vendor management, recruitment, organizational consultancy, and team-building activities. The ideal candidate is an outgoing individual with strong communication skills, proficient in computer applications, and possesses a creative, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement of Team Building Materials:
  • Research and source materials for team-building activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  1. Day-to-Day Office Errands:
  • Assist with general office tasks and errands to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle office supplies inventory and reordering as needed.
  1. Recruitment Assistance:
  • Support the recruitment process by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Help in the onboarding process for new hires.
  1. Organizational Consultancy and Team Building Activities:
  • Assist in planning and executing team-building events and workshops.
  • Contribute ideas and assist in creating engaging activities for clients.
  1. Vendor Management:
  • Maintain relationships with existing vendors and source new vendors as required.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts and managing vendor agreements.
  1. Tracking Team and Office Performance:
  • Help in monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics.
  • Assist leadership in analyzing data to improve team and office efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Outgoing and engaging personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fully conversant with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Creative thinker with a proactive, “let’s do it” mindset.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related fields is a plus.
