Job Title: Offshore Wind Planner (Remote)
Location: Remote (Occasional travel to offshore sites may be required)
Job Type:Contract -12 months
Compensation:500-650€ per day
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Offshore Wind Planner to manage and plan offshore wind projects remotely. The role involves collaborating with engineers, environmental specialists, and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project execution, compliance with regulations, and minimal environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Selection & Feasibility: Analyze potential offshore wind sites and assess feasibility using data and remote tools.
- Project Planning: Develop project schedules and manage remote coordination with teams and stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects meet local and international regulations, obtaining necessary permits remotely.
- Design & Infrastructure: Review offshore wind farm designs and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure efficiency.
- Logistics & Supply Chain: Coordinate remote logistics for transportation, installation, and material delivery.
- Risk Management & Safety: Develop and review safety procedures and risk management plans remotely.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with communities, regulators, and other stakeholders virtually.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress and performance, generating remote reports for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in offshore wind planning or project management, with experience in remote work.
- Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) P6, communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams), and knowledge of offshore wind regulations.
Working Conditions:
- Work Environment: Remote, with occasional travel to offshore sites.
- Schedule: Flexible working hours, with cross-time zone coordination.
