Job Description

Misisi Movement Change Company Limited is seeking professional, hard-working, licensed CPAs with at least four years of experience. The Firm demands independence, integrity, objectivity, competence and due care from all of its personnel in the conduct of its engagements. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in both English and Swahili language
  • Diploma in Business Administration and other related fields.
  • At Least 5 years of work experience with good experience is the must.
  • Strong computer skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Accuracy in daily work and other projects
  • Demonstrates exceptional professional judgment
  • Ability to meet and communicated schedules and deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensuring meetings are effectively organized and minute are taken effectively.

  • Liaising with the Chair to plan meetings
  • Receiving agenda items from meeting members
  • Circulating agendas and reports
  • Taking minutes (unless there is a minute’s secretary)
  • Circulating approved minutes
  • Checking that agreed actions are carried out.

2. Maintaining effective records and administration

  • Keeping up-to-date contact details (i.e. names, addresses and telephone numbers) for the management and employees and (where relevant) other members who works for the organization.
  • Filing minutes and reports Compiling lists of names and addresses that are useful to the organization, including those of appropriate officials or officers.
  • Keeping a record of the organization’s activities
  • Keeping a diary of future activities

3. Upholding legal requirements

  • Acting as custodian of the organization’s governing documents
  • Checking quorum is present at meetings
  • Ensuring answering and make a call are in line with stipulated procedures.
  • Ensuring organization’s activities are in line with its objects
  • Ensuring charity and company law requirements are met (where relevant, unless there is a separate company secretary)
  • Sitting on appraisal, recruitment and disciplinary panels, as required.

4. Communication and correspondence

  • Responding to all company’s correspondence
  • Filing all company’s correspondence received and copies of replies sent
  • Keeping a record of any of the organization’s publications (e.g. leaflets or newsletters) and
  • Reporting the activities of the organization and future programs to management.
  • Preparing a report of the organization’s activities for the year, for the Annual General Meeting.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by management in performance of duties.
