I.                Perform nursing services to serve clients in communities, hospitals and all areas where health care is provided

            II.                 Supervise and coordinate all the work of health care providers in his / her work area

           III.                 Collect data and prepare reports on its performance

          IV.                 Provide home-based care for patients

           V.                Provide counseling

          VI.                 Provide preventive and contraceptive services

         VII.                 Provide maternity and child health services

       VIII.                 Educate patients and the community about health problems

          IX.                 Monitor the maintenance of equipment in its work areas

           X.                To perform such other duties as may be assigned to him or her by his or her supervisor for his or her education, experience and skills.

Employed with a two-year Nursing Certificate from a Government-recognized and Enrolled College by the Tanzania Council of Nurses and Midwives.
