A National Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring that a company's sales objectives across all regions in the country are met. Involves supervising the entire sales team of the organization.

Job Description
- Ability to utilize use strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present their views in a clear and compelling manner
- Manage team of Regional Sales Managers and Key Accounts – leadership, performance management, motivation, teamwork and coaching on an ongoing basis
- Perform management activities consistent with corporate human resource policies including performance reviews, performance improvement, etc
- Provide market knowledge through collaboration with the General Manager to help develop and drive new growth initiatives
- Provide supervision to Key Accounts Manager which includes objective setting, performance management, and motivating, as well as training and coaching
- Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions
- Execute performance and career development discussions to drive high performance
- Provides Sales with weekly sales reports and works with National Sales assistant to create efficiencies
- General knowledge of marketing fundamentals is desired. Proficiency with Microsoft® Office
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstance and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment
Education and General Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any related
- A Masters degree will be an added advantage
- 8 - 10+ years’ experience in Sales and Marketing management and at least 6 out of those be in a national managerial level
- Great analytical skills
- Great presentation skills
- Excellent leadership skills and proactive in nature
