National Aids Control Program (NACP)

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer- HIV Testing Services (1 Position)
Location: Dodoma
Reporting to: Head Strategic Information Unit – NACP.
Duties and Responsibilities
: • Participate in program planning activities that impact on HIV Testing Services (HTS) such as follow up on access to HIV testing commodities.
• Review of Monitoring and Evaluation HIV Testing Services standard operating procedures, investment case on electronic data capture, storage and reporting, development of M&E training materials etc.
• Coordinate HTS data.
• Participate and take a leading role in overseeing data collection into all testing points in twenty-six regions of Tanzania Mainland; HTS data analysis and interpretation to inform the programming decisions.
• Coordinate and participate into the training and/or refresher-training of Training of Trainees (TOTs) for HTS, each region hosts these TOTs and liaise with HIV Testing implementing partners.

Experience and Qualifications
: • Degree in Medicine or related health degree
• Post graduate degree in Monitoring and Evaluation or public health or Statistics or Epidemiology is an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
• Three years working experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
• Strong communication including proficiency in English and Kiswahili languages and computer skills.
• Age limit: 50 years.

Terms of engagement: 7 months contract - renewable (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds).
