Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in IT Capacity Management, data analytics, capacity forecast models, and methodologies related to Application/Technology Infrastructure
- Bachelor or MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research, or other technical field
Core Responsibilities
- Lead capacity planning for all HTMSL software products/services, ensuring scalable server and data center resources
- Design and implement automation solutions to streamline capacity management and reporting
- Ensure accurate and performant data reporting and visualizations to support business decisions
- Manage capacity initiatives across multiple applications and review technical documentation for infrastructure impact
- Support performance testing by analyzing saturation test results and related artifacts
- Monitor and interpret system capacity thresholds using specialized tools
- Promote team knowledge sharing and a culture of collaboration
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance automation and capacity efforts
- Provide data-driven insights to guide executive infrastructure decisions, including at CxO level
- Contribute to end-to-end capacity planning processes, methodologies, and executable plans
- Resolve critical issues across all layers: product, platform, and infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineering, hardware, supply chain, and data center teams to optimize scaling and service placement
- Partner cross-functionally (including Finance) to align technical, cost, and product strategies, and contribute to software system improvements and issue resolution
Core Competencies
- Understanding of hardware, distributed systems architecture, and disaster recovery
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
- Cloud provider certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Architect)
- ITIL certification
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Splunk, and BMC TrueSight
