Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role as a Metallurgist at XPBOLD Co. Limited located in Mwanza. As a Metallurgist, you will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing metals and alloys, and developing new materials and manufacturing processes in accordance with industry standards. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
• Experience in metallurgical analysis, materials characterization, and failure analysis
• Knowledge of metal extraction, refining, and casting processes
• Familiarity with metallography, microscopy, spectroscopy, and other analytical techniques
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
