JOB DETAILS:

Key Responsibilities:

• To operate Reach Stacker, Forklift, Empty Handler and other equipments to receive and load sea containers in a safe and efficieant manner.
• Load and unload containers onto chassis, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing.
• Monitor gauges, inspect products, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment parts, and report any maintenance issues to the Mechanical Engineer-Container Terminal and site supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of container movements, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Demonstrate a high level of safety and process compliance, adhering to company and port safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and stakeholders, ensuring efficient container and products handling operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal use of resources and minimal delays.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and productivity in the terminal.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Port Equipment and facilities Maintenance Management or relevant field.
• Certificate in Mechanical operator course.
• 3+ years relevant work experience equipment operation (Warehouse operations more preferrable).
• Any Certificate of Safety Training is an added advantage.
• A valid driving license.
