JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:

The Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and machinery used in the pipe manufacturing process. This includes ensuring all production equipment such as extruders, cutting machines, welding machines, and pipe handling systems operate at optimal levels to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Key Responsibilities
1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all mechanical equipment in the plant.

2. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with machinery such as extruders, pipe cutters, threading machines, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.

3. Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams.

4. Inspect parts for wear and replace as necessary using appropriate tools and equipment.
5. Collaborate with electrical and production teams for smooth operation and maintenance scheduling.

Skills and Qualifications
1. Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Maintenance preferred.

2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanic (experience in pipe manufacturing is a strong advantage).

3. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.

4. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
