This remote position plays a pivotal role in enhancing WGU’s brand presence, driving enrollment growth, and ensuring consistent engagement with prospective and current students. Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to support WGU’s enrollment and brand awareness goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the education sector.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, email, social media, and traditional media.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing initiatives with program launches, events, and organizational goals.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and maximizing return on investment (ROI).

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals to deliver high-impact campaigns.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure timely project completion.

Brand Development:

  • Maintain and enhance WGU’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

We are looking for a visionary and results-oriented Marketing Manager with the following profile:
Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing, such as Google Ads, HubSpot, or Social Media Marketing, are an added advantage.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in higher education marketing is a plus but not mandatory.
