Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the Front Office department making sure they adhere the standards of excellence and to the guidelines set by the general manager, hotel policies and procedures, coaching, training and correcting where needed.
  • Maintain a professional and high quality service oriented environment at all times.
  • Act as manager on duty for the hotel, dealing with complaints, problem solving, disturbances, special requests and any other issues that may arise.
  • Inform all Front Office staff of daily activities, group, arrivals as well as special requests and repeat guests.
  • Check accommodations, making sure special requests are carried out accordingly, greet guests upon arrival and ensure escort to accommodations.
  • Undertake given responsibility for Scheduling of the department.
  • Undertake given responsibility for managing operating for the department
  • Work closely with the Housekeeping Department to improve guest services and foster cross departmental communication.
  • Coordinate daily activities with hotel management team on a daily basis.
  • Hold weekly department meetings keeping staff informed of all activities in the hotel, reinforcing Standards of Excellence and promoting a strong team atmosphere and culture.
  • Work closely with F&B supervisor and Chef to improve guest service, food quality, presentation and manage any complaint Trains, cross –trains, and retrains all personnel.
  • Participates in the selection of HK, FO, F&B personnel.Supervises workload during shifts.
  • Evaluate and appraises the job performance of each employee.Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
  • Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
  • Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
  • Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.
  • Ensure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests managers and other employees.
  • Report daily to general manager about all above listed task.Must work on broken shift
  • Must have a diploma in hotel management or related fields
  • Must speak fluently and write at least 2 European languages Must have no less than 1 years experience in the same position
  • Must hold a valid European passport.
