Position: Logistics Transport Manager

Reports to: Managing Director
Location: Dar es Salaam

Broad Function:
This position is accountable for planning, organize and coordinate and control company’s transportation fleet as per company transportation policy, Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting and surveying current user/customers trends, Keep track for all vehicles under car track system so that any discrepancy could be reported for immediate rescue measure, Ensure that all log sheets are accurately maintained for all vehicles, Preparation of technical reports, statistics and other documents required for fleet management, Prepare and develop transport safety, driving manual for drivers and internal repair and for maintenance guidelines for vehicle sustainability and company value
for money in repair and maintenance, To supervise drivers and ensure uninterrupted provision of transport services, Ensure correct maintenance of the vehicle register by making regular vehicle inspections and recommending the appropriate maintenance options and Monitor expenditure on fuel, repair and maintenance to make sure they are in line with the approved budgets

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Transport Management with atleast 8 years
of working experience from Logistics and Transport Industry. Managerial skills is an added
advantage
