We are recruiting a Logistics and Supply Chain Manager for our operations.

The Logistics and Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations  such as transportation and monitoring the cost of the whole supply chain processes. The ideal Manager typically supervises a team of logistics officers, supervisors, mechanics, drivers, fleet officers, and other members in the department.

The Manager is expected to be a motivational leader, hard worker, responsible for engaging their  team at every start of the day to achieve the highest levels of performance, safety, quality, and attendance. He/she  should be a leader and a cost-conscious person that will ensure cost control.

Required profile for job ad : Logistics and Supply Chain ManagerMission:

• Work closely with the Finance department to ensure proper utilization of the vehicles and centralize fleet operations to lower-cost areas and create a more proactive approach in managing the department.
• Route Planning for the drivers: Strategically plan and manage logistics and transportation: refills timetable,  monitoring fuel costs by ensuring route plans are adhered to and fuel usage is monitored.
• Oversee the distribution drivers, from vehicle assignment, maintenance schedule, refilling, and vehicle compliance. Will work closely with the sales department to ensure a proper shift plan that will not affect the  sales routine.
• Daily Checklist implementation: ensure that the daily activity and reporting is done on time and that all items  are completed on time.
