LAB TECHNICIAN

Job Description
As a Lab Technician, you will perform various tests on construction materials (e.g., soil, concrete, asphalt) to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. You will work closely with engineers to provide accurate data for project decisions.

Qualifications:
• Diploma in Laboratory Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a construction materials lab.

• Knowledge of Tanzanian construction material standards.

• Familiarity with lab testing equipment and procedures.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct laboratory tests on construction materials, such as soil, concrete, and aggregates.
• Prepare reports on material quality, durability, and compliance with stand- ards.

• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Assist in quality control processes and inspections on-site.

• Maintain clear and organized laboratory records.
