Job Description:
Boomplay is seeking a proactive, results-oriented, and self-driven Junior Sales Manager to focus on developing small and medium-sized clients in the African market. This role involves supporting sales for display ads on the Boomplay platform and collaborating closely with clients to meet their brand marketing objectives. Ideal candidates will have a background in digital advertising sales and a strong desire to grow in the field.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage CPM/CPC/CPI/CPA ad business for Boomplay in Africa, actively expanding direct clients in the local market and collaborating with the operations team to fulfill clients’ branding needs;
2. Maintain and deepen relationships with advertisers, uncover additional client needs, stay informed on market traffic trends, coordinate internal resources, and enhance ad delivery effectiveness;

 

 

3. Regularly analyze and review client advertising data, assess performance, identify issues, and work cross-departmentally to develop and implement optimization strategies.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related field;
2. Approximately 2 years of experience in digital advertising sales, with experience in developing small and medium-sized clients preferred;

 

 

3. Strong self-drive with a results-oriented mindset;

 

 

4. Excellent learning and communication skills with the ability to proactively maintain client relationships;
5. Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or Zoho is preferred;

 

 

6. Fluent in English, with additional proficiency in local languages (e.g., French, Swahili) being an advantage.
