Description

JOB DUTIES
Manage the bookkeeping functions of the organization, ensuring regular and timely monitoring and reporting.
Reconciling bank transactions to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions in a timely manner.
Ensure efficient functioning and documentation for all financial systems including receipts, disbursements, billing, and bookkeeping.
Recording (daily, weekly, monthly) of journal entries preparation of sub-ledgers.
Payroll processing, including preparation of year-end.
Complete payroll remittances.
Complete inventory data processing on a daily basis.
Responsible for processing invoices and issuing payments.
Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with policies and procedures.
Maintain responsibility for international shipments invoicing and documentation preparation.
Ensure month/quarter/year-end processes are completed in a timely manner to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Adherence to company policies and procedures for internal controls.
Maintain appropriate files, reports, documentation and data.
Uphold and monitor procedures to maintain an organized office environment.
Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, budgets and actual expenditures.
Perform other bookkeeping or office management responsibilities, as requested or assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
CPA designation is an asset.
2 years of progressive accounting experience.
Must have strong computer skills.
Good command of English, written and oral.
