Internship Programme

FEMA undertakes to offer internship opportunities to HEAVY DUTY MECHANICS / TECHNICIAN, with the aim of “Enhancing Capability in Tanzania”.

PURPOSE OF THE FEMA INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME:

The internship Programme provides an opportunity for unemployed HEAVY DUTY MECHANICS / TECHNICIAN to gain meaningful experience in the real working world that will complement their studies and provide them with knowledge that could help them understand the career trajectory for their desired job and gain access to the mining labour market in the future.

The internship is for a fixed term (12 months) and there is no guarantee of any offer of employment by the company on the expiry of the internship period.

 FIELD OF STUDY

Internship opportunities are available for the following discipline;

• HEAVY DUTY MECHANICS / TECHNICIAN (3 Posts) site based in Katoro Geita

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

ELIGIBILITY: To qualify for the internship post(s), one MUST:

• Be a Tanzanian citizen.
• Be an unemployed Tanzanian aged between 18 – 30 years.
• Have graduated between 2020 and 2023.
• The candidate must possess a valid certificate from VETA or any recognized INSTITUTE .
