The Individual International Consultant will support the editing of the Country Office Annual Report.

Under the supervision of the Chief of PMFC and in close collaboration with the Deputy Representative Programme, the consultant will be supporting the proofreading, editing and RBM compliance of the Country Office Annual Report and the Results Assessment Headline Statements. The Country Office Annual Report is a highly strategic short summary narrative (approximately 10 pages) highlighting the key results achieved by the Country Officer in 2020 for a public audience. In addition, the Headline Statements provide short summaries for each result (up to 100 words for each of the 47 results statements total approximately 10 pages) which are also made available to the public through the UNICEF transparency portal.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • A first University Degree in Journalism, communication, research, policy or other related fields
  • A minimum of [five years] of proven experience in working  as a rapporteur or writing reports for UN agencies
  • Proven experience in results-based reporting
  • Extensive experience of working with UNICEF or other UN agencies
  • Fluency in English is required(Excellent writing skills in English)
