Job Summary: The Hybrid Room Specialist Procedures Technologist, under the direction of the Operating Room Manager, supervises and coordinates the patient care component of all cardiac and peripheral angiography and interventional procedures, structural heart, vascular, and endovascular procedures, and CRM device implants.

Minimum Requirements: Graduate from an approved school of Radiology Science or Registered Cardiovascular Technology by the ARRT or RCIS or CVT formal program with registry. Minimum of three years’ experience in a full-service interventional Radiology Cath Lab or Hybrid OR experience and one year of supervisory experience. As a condition of continued employment, staff members must maintain their current status and not allow his/her certification/licensure/registry to expire or will no longer be compliant with the job description requirement. Once a staff member’s credentialed status has been negated/lost/revoked, they will be terminated from their position per this job description and Human Resources Policy 3.11. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients’ age served on his/her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s needs and to provide the care needed as described in the department’s Standard Operating Procedure manual.
