WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes.
  • Support workforce planning to ensure timely staffing and succession readiness.
  • Assist in implementing performance management processes, including setting KPIs, tracking performance, and coordinating appraisals.
  • Coordinate training and development programs in line with employee and organizational needs.

 

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, handling grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary cases in compliance with Tanzanian labor law.
  • Support initiatives to drive employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to staff and managers on HR policies and best practices.

 

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records (contracts, leave, benefits, performance data) and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian employment legislation, health & safety requirements, and company policies.
  • Draft and update HR policies and procedures in line with local laws and global standards.
  • Support payroll administration by coordinating with Finance and ensuring accuracy of employee data.

 

HR Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, training hours, etc.) to identify trends and propose improvements.
  • Provide regular HR reports to management to support data-driven decision-making.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience in HR roles within Tanzania.
  • Solid knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws, disciplinary procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support a fast-paced environment.
