Description

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager (M/F) for our client, a multinational IT services company.

 

Mission:

 

  • Define and implement purchasing strategy in consultation with the Purchasing Director, while respecting the company's overall strategy.
  • Define purchasing and supply strategy.
  • Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure effective coordination between company needs and customer requirements.
  • Provide operational expertise in all internal purchasing processes.
  • Ensure deadlines are met, monitor urgent deliveries, issue alerts and coordinate action plans in the event of disruption.
  • Identify, take charge of and resolve all day-to-day purchasing-related issues, escalating bottlenecks to management.
  • Negotiate the best conditions with suppliers, taking into account technical objectives as well as transport and payment conditions.
  • Manage disputes concerning industrial purchasing, packaging, maintenance, service and logistics contracts.
  • Ensure sourcing, seek out new suppliers and monitor markets (cost drivers, energy, inflation, transport, etc.).
  • Audit suppliers by challenging specifications and anticipate future needs by integrating market trends and innovations.
  • Optimise inventories.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between different departments.
Required profile for job ad : Purchasing Manager (M/F)

  • Bachelor's degree in Purchasing Management or related field.
  • +5 years' professional experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar position.
  • Experience of purchasing methodologies and stages of a purchasing process required.
  • Operational knowledge and skills in contractual and commercial law, public procurement law, etc.
  • Knowledge of budget management tools and economic analysis techniques.
  • Ability to analyze, summarize and negotiate.
  • Knowledge of office automation tools and purchasing management software.
  • Knowledge of tendering procedures.
  • Persuasive, convincing and diplomatic.
  • Ability to establish relationships of trust with both internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
