My Client a well known Luxury  Safari Lodge in Tanzania, is currently recruiting for a Creative and experienced Head Chef.

Remuneration Package:

  • Market related - Negotiable – depends on qualifications/experience

Job description:

  • Daily menu planning and preparation of Excuisite plated Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
  • Pastry and baking
  • Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and equipment maintenance
  • Overseeing all food preparation - Stock control - be able to do all orders and checking of deliveries
  • Assist with stock takes and understanding how it works
  • Work as a team with Sous Chef and Chef de Partis

Skills required:

  • Ability to run Shifts with kitchen brigade reporting in , and deliver a consistent high quality of work
  • At least two years in a Head Chef or Senior Sous chef position
  • Chef diploma, similar qualification or relevant experience
  • Good Pastry Experience - preferred and will secure position
  • Previous experience in a Safari Lodge / Game Reserve Environment would be an advantage
  • Valid driver's licence - preferable
