Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate head Baker to join our Food Production team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing delicious baked goods using your expertise in preparing and baking different types of bread and a wide range of pastries, like cookies, cakes and pies. the Baker responsibilities include opening the bakery early in the morning, prepare and produce bakery & pastries goods. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience as a Baker and play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality and visually appealing bakery products and make sure we offer fresh and delicious goods to our customers on a daily basis. - Open the bakery early in the morning.
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Make different bread types, like pretzels, baguettes, bread rolls, and multigrain breads.
- Understands the recipes used in baking and their proportions.
- Follow recipes and ensure the quality and consistency of baked goods
- Decorate and present baked goods in an attractive and visually appealing manner
- Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure the smooth operation of the bakery
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the food production environment
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Clean and sanitize baking equipment and workstations regularly
- Recommend recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker or a similar role is a must
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and principles
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters, deck ovens, combi ovens
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Creative mindset and ability to come up with unique and appealing bakery products
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work in different working hours
- Certification from a culinary school is a plus.
Contract : 3 years Salary: $300 - $600 US dollars
