For a prestigious boutique hotel located in Nungwi, Zanzibar, we are seeking a highly qualified Polish, Ukrainian or Belgian Head Chef to lead our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high quality dishes while adhering to the corporate identity and the menu created. In addition, he/she will need to be able to lead, coordinate and manage a team of approximately 8 people, ensuring that all dishes served meet the high quality standards set by the restaurant.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Prepare high quality dishes while respecting the corporate identity and the created menu;

- Be the point person for the assigned team, coordinating, training and managing staff;

- Work with suppliers to ensure the supply of fresh, high-quality ingredients and manage warehouse stocks efficiently;

- Contribute to the creation of new dishes by making technical contributions and collaborating with superiors;

- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations in the kitchen, ensuring the safety of customers and staff.

Profile Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role;

- Ability to manage a team, to work independently but also as part of a team;

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;

- Accuracy, consistency, methodology and time management skills;

- Problem solving and priority management skills;

- Resilience and stress management skills.
