Job Summary:
Join our customer’s team as a Geneticist and play a pivotal role in shaping intelligent health and life science technology. Leverage your expertise in genomics, molecular biology, and clinical genetics to advance breakthrough solutions and serve as the subject matter expert for the development of next-generation technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in genomics and clinical genetics for health and life sciences technology initiatives.
- Create and curate accurate, comprehensive query and answer pairs to train and refine an intelligent agent across multiple genetic fields.
- Annotate genetic data, ensuring high-quality datasets to optimize model performance and reliability.
- Evaluate and validate genomics models, providing feedback and scientific rigor in all assessments.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate cutting-edge genetic research into actionable insights.
- Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in genomics technologies, databases, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of genetics, genomics, and molecular biology, ideally supported by an advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with genomics technologies, annotation tools, and major databases (e.g., Ensembl, dbSNP, ClinVar).
- Strong skills in scientific writing and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to annotate and analyze genetic data with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience evaluating and tuning genomics or clinical genetics models.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and commitment to scientific excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in technology-driven health or life sciences organizations.
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications in genomics or clinical data.
- Previous involvement in product or agent training initiatives.
