Job Description
Responsibilities
- Purchase of quality agro products
- Establishment of buying centers and supply sources
- Planning and strategizing purchase
- Co-ordination inter and intra department
- Monitoring price trends, availability and laying plan
- Overseeing purchase team
- MIS report development
- Assessing and reducing cost of procurement
Experience:
- 10 years’ minimum experience in procurement of GRAINS, SPICES, PULSES, FLOURS and ORGANICS
- Experience in Tanzania will be an added advantage
Requirements:
- Must have worked in the field of agro procurement for the above mentioned products for at least 10 years at a senior position
- Must have headed a team of procurement officers
- Experience from a BRC, ISO certified operating environment will be an added advantage
