About Us: Maestria Recruitment & Consulting is a dynamic recruitment agency with a headquarters in Mayotte and a growing presence in Dar es Salaam. We are expanding our team to launch and maintain our job board in Tanzania, and we are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join us on a short-term contract with the possibility of extension.

Key Skills And Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team to design, develop, test, and maintain the job board in Tanzania.
• Stay updated on Tanzanian and East African market trends and incorporate them into the development process.
• Utilize your proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create an engaging user interface.
• Apply your experience with back-end development using languages like PHP, Python, or Ruby to ensure seamless functionality.
• Implement web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js to enhance the user experience.
• Manage database systems, including MySQL or MongoDB, to store and retrieve data efficiently.
• Utilize version control systems (Git) to track changes and ensure code integrity.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between the job board and external services.
• Implement responsive design principles for optimal user experience across various devices.
• Apply excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to address issues promptly.

Requirements

Profile :

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a web developer, with a focus on job board development, is preferred.
• Familiarity with Tanzanian and East African market trends and job market dynamics.
• Proficiency in French is a must to communicate with the French team and manage the French job board.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
