Available Positions

Fire & Gas (F&G) Engineer – Electrical

• Location: Tanzania or Uganda (Site-based)
• Start Date: October 2025 or as per work schedule
• Position Summary: Implements, tests, and commissions fire and gas detection systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards in oil & gas environments.
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise installation and validation of F&G systems, including detectors, alarms, and control panels.
  • Configure and test F&G logic for alarm activation and shutdown signals.
  • Validate system layout based on hazardous area classifications.
  • Conduct loop checks, functional testing, and cause & effect validation.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA, ISA, and IEC 60079 standards.
• Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 4–6 years of experience with F&G systems in hazardous industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of fire and gas detection principles, hazardous area classification, and SCADA/PLC integration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and F&G configuration tools.
• Work Conditions: Hazardous zones, full PPE compliance, possible extended hours
