Reporting to: Director of Administration and Finance
Duration: 1st June 2021 to 30th September 2021
- Track payments from the regions and ensure they are paid within 2 weeks after the Limited Purchase Order (LPO) and service is delivered during the close out period.
- Work with each regional admin on weekly basis to reconcile unpaid invoices and those forward verified pending invoices to finance department for processing.
- Work with Acting Senior Finance Manager to close all paid LPOs in QuickBooks (QB) and follow up pending aged POs for closing in QB.
- Reconcile each vendor account in QB and confirm with procurement & vendors that the position in QB is same as the vendors’ records and clear any outstanding bills prior to 31st August 2021.
- Work with regional teams and offices to facilitate close out procedures ensuring financial compliance including paying all outstanding bills before 31st August 2021.
- Review the list for minor equipment for disposal and facilitate disposition of the equipment’s as per approved plan in regions.
- Reconcile the QB open LPO register and ensure is closed prior to 31st August 2021.
- Make a list of all active contracts by working with Administration Manager to ensure contracts are appropriately closed and notes are served to landlords 3 month prior to project end and handing over of office buildings is done in advance of closure dates.
- Work with central and regional program leads and admin to ensure a realistic Working Capital Method (WCM) tracker is completed in August 2021 reflecting the activities that will happen in September 2021.
- Work with finance, procurement, and regional teams to ensure WCM items are completed and accounted for within the month following August FFR close.
- Ensure all ICAP equipment and inventories are physically verified by 31st August 2021.
Minimum Qualifications
• In addition to the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above, this position requires the following:
• Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in finance or accounting. CPA (T) and MBA are added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible accounting/financial management experience.
