Agrimatco Ltd, a unique international agricultural distribution company, starts searching for an experienced Finance Manager to join our family in Tanzania.

Job Summary:

Provide financial management and provision of timely and accurate information and business support to assist strategic and business decision making. Moreover, direct all financial planning and accounting practices as well as financial analysis, reports, risk management, company assets, tax management, insurance, bank relations and credit control.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the effective management of finance and general administration functions.
  • Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and controls are in place and in use at all times.
  • Prepare and present long term financial forecasts in relation to the company strategic plan.
  • Prepare annual budgets, including operating and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Prepare and review of monthly management accounts to include Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and any variations from budgets.
  • Provide monthly financial analysis regarding to sales accounts and financial reports to the General Manager.
  • Oversee the day-to-day financial systems including, cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, invoicing, banking, petty cash, and payroll.
  • Manage the external auditing practices with the authorized parties.
  • Liaise with accounting staff and coordinate activities within the Finance Department.
  • Manage the accounting staff in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures and support them to maintain excellence in service delivery.
  • Monitor the processes of clearance of imported products from outside, local shipment into the warehouse, pricing products, and distribution to all branches.
  • Manage the processes of all contracts, income, disbursement, and suppliers’ due payments.
  • Oversee treasury management and banking functions.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with the internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compile and present information on costs and contribution by departments and products.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 7 years’ experience in accountancy and financial analysis, with minimum 3 years senior level experience in financial management and control.
  • Professional certificate is advantageous.
  • Ability to think and act strategically, to see the bigger picture.
  • Ability to influence people, as well as acknowledged and proven leadership skills, and an ability to build and maintain good relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Ability to identify and deal with cultural sensitivities.
  • Ability to innovate.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • English (spoken and written), fluent.
