About the Client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Finance Head for an organization that imports and distributes pharmaceutical products. They also started a manufacturing unit in 2006; today, it is East Africa's leading pharmaceutical platform.

Job Purpose: Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to the Management while recommending further courses of action. Maintain the financial health of the organization. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and statements.
• Assess financing alternatives by considering risk, return, and market conditions.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets.
• Monitor the cash flow of the company to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet cash flow needs.
• Liasioning with Banks for Working Capital
• Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals.
• Reviews financial reports.
• Prepares financial forecasts.
• Analyzes revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.
• Assists management to make financial decisions.
• Investigates means to improve profitability.
• Reviews and processes payments of the company.
• Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
• Prepare an analysis of financing needs for major capital equipment purchases, working capital, and other financing needs.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for the company.

Educational Qualifications And Experience

• Chartered Accountant with 5 to 10yrs of experience preferably from Pharmaceutical Industry
• Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
• Good Communication and Leadership skills.
