Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Finance ERP Functional Consultant to support the implementation of IFMIS projects.

The role involves gathering requirements, configuring systems, delivering end-user training, producing essential documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing pre- and post–go-live support to ensure successful deployment and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Revenue Payment Gateway module and other IFMIS-related solutions.
• Validate that system modules meet client business requirements.
• Gather and document requirements, define project scope, and design functional solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client departments to ensure successful project delivery.
• Deliver training sessions to end-users and core teams, both locally and internationally.
• Configure systems and support client User Acceptance Testing based on specific requirements.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including operational manuals and training materials.
• Provide ongoing pre- and post-go-live support to ensure system stability and user adoption.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
• Advanced Diploma in Accounting or Finance with relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, IT systems, or related roles.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial procedures, and best practices.
• CPA qualification is an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills for effective client and team collaboration.
• Ability to follow guidelines, work independently, and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and perform on-site implementations in Tanzania and abroad.
• Commitment to learn and get certified in ERP products implemented by the company.
