Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fiber Splicing Specialist at OptiNET Africa in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The specialist will be responsible for splicing fibers, organizing and maintaining splice records, testing spliced fibers, and troubleshooting any technical issues related to fiber optics.

Qualifications

• Fiber splicing, fiber organizing, and fiber testing skills
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to fiber optics
• Knowledge of fiber optic cable installation and maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Certifications in fiber optic splicing and related areas
• Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights
