JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
As a Facility Manager at Mapinga Premium Foods, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and functionality of our facility. Your primary focus will be to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment for our employees. Additionally, you will play a key role in managing the facility-related budget and overseeing project-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. 1. Facility Management:
• Supervise and coordinate all activities related to the maintenance and upkeep of the office facility.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address facility-related issues promptly.

• Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality facility services.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and standards to create a secure working environment.
2. 2. Maintenance:
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, systems, and the overall facility.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring quick and effective resolution of issues.

• Oversee the repair and replacement of faulty equipment and systems.
3. 3. Budget Management:
• Develop and manage the facility budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and control expenses related to maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements.

• Provide regular reports on budget performance and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
4. 4. Project Oversight:
• Lead and coordinate facility-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

• Evaluate and select contractors and vendors for project execution.
5. 5. Space Planning and Utilization:
• Assess and optimize office space utilization to meet current and future needs.
• Coordinate office relocations and setup of new workspaces.
• Work closely with departments to understand space requirements and plan accordingly.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in facility management, maintenance, and budget oversight.

• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and facility-related compliance.
• Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project completion.
• Budgeting and financial management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
