JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular visits to farms and rural communities to assess current agricultural practices and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide farmers with training and workshops on modern and sustainable farming

techniques, crop management, livestock care, and other agricultural topics.

• Educate farmers on the use of new technologies, equipment, and inputs.
• Offer guidance on crop selection, planting, and harvesting times.
• Advise on soil testing, fertilization, and pest and disease management.
• Assist in livestock management, including animal health, nutrition, and breeding practices.
• Facilitate access to markets by connecting farmers with buyers, cooperatives, or agricultural value chains.
• Provide information on market prices and trends
• Promote the adoption of modern agricultural technologies and practices, such as precision farming, organic farming, and agribusiness ventures

Key qualifications for the Applicant
• A Bachelor’s Degree in General Agriculture, Agriculture Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of Agricultural Practices, Crop Management, Livestock care, and sustainable farming techniques is essential.

• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) or other agricultural certifications, can enhance your qualifications. Additionally, ongoing training and professional development in agricultural practices and extension methods are beneficial
• The candidate should be at the age of 27 to 40.
