Looking for an Executive Chef for a lodge in Tanzania
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
• Kitchen management – including kitchen administration, general hygiene and people management
• Budget management
• Hospitality knowledge
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Formal Chef’s Qualification
• At least 5+ years Chef Experience required in 5 star properties or lodges and 2 years as an executive chef
• International exposure is a plus
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Excellent Spoken and written English
• Computer literate
• Passion for food and the food experience
• Ability to take initiative, ability to think and act creatively within a team and on the go
• Leadership – must lead the kitchen team effectively
• Strong management and organisational skills
• Good knowledge of hospitality operations including butler service
• Communication skills - with guests and fellow staff members
