Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to oversee the management and successful delivery of existing and new company ERP projects.

The successful candidate will coordinate resources, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects meet defined timelines and deliverables while driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, goals, resources, and ensure adherence to timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate approval processes for project deliverables and documentation, and ensure timely follow-up on payments.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee client relations by managing expectations and aligning stakeholders.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate challenges.
• Manage cross-functional teams, delegate tasks, and foster collaboration.
• Prepare proposals and act as bid manager when required.
• Maintain project documentation and report outcomes.
• Facilitate meetings, provide updates, and ensure clear communication across all levels.
• Provide regular status reports and end-of-project summaries.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Master’s Degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ERP project management.
• PMP certification or equivalent mandatory.
• Proven experience managing at least 2 large ERP projects on-site in Africa with long-duration site presence.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site across Africa for the duration of projects.
• Ability and commitment to learn and become certified in ERP products implemented by the company.
