We are looking for a Declaration Officer.
Responsibilities :

To receive incoming shipping documents from the management team and to open the file for the same.
To provide copies of documents to shipping line staff so they can arrange for container nomination to ICD's and advice on ETA ETB ATA etc.
To peruse the shipping documents before put in the systems and advise if any permit will be required (i.e., TBS, TFDA.CHEMICAL) and to ask the responsible person to make a follow-up for the same.
To check and advise proper HS codes for each cargo assessed.
To follow up for final assessment from TRA if there is any delay on issuance.
To advise the client on early payment of taxes for each consignment.
To prepare the file for the port final clearance (physical verification). (All the required documents and permits must be attached.)
To perform any of the assigned tasks by the management team or his fellow staff at any time as may be required.
