About the role:
As a Data Analyst at Billigence, you'll be instrumental in shaping our data landscape, with a specific focus on data governance. Leveraging your expertise with Erwin Studio, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and designing data models that drive our organization. This position places you at the forefront of influencing data-driven decisions, strengthening data governance, and contributing to the overall triumph of our data management initiatives. This is a short term engagement until the end of the year.
What You'll Be Doing:
- In this role, you'll spearhead the establishment of a robust data foundation with a strong emphasis on data governance principles.
- You will collaborate closely with the team to identify existing data structures and models, enhance the efficiency of current data models, categorize data sources based on their relevance and importance, define ownership and stewardship responsibilities, track progress in sizing data models, and ensure data is ready for import into Collibra with a laser focus on quality and governance standards.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a comparable role with a strong understanding of data governance.
- A robust grasp of data modelling, normalization, and database design principles.
- Proficiency in data modelling tools such as Erwin, IBM Data Architect, and others.
- Familiarity with data governance and data management best practices.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- An eye for detail and a knack for structuring and organizing data effectively.
