Our client is a well established Sportsbetting operator, Retail and Online. In order to strengthen their team across Africa they are searching for self-motivated country managers to help with organization expansion in the following countries: Uganda, Mozambique, Malawi and Ghana. The Country manager will lead all operations to ensure the profitability of the company.Responsibilities include all aspects of people management, recruitment, training, preparing budgets and reports as well as assessing performance. To be successful as a country manager, you should be a competent multitasker, able to lead others and work without supervision and demonstrate strong problem solving skills.Role & Responsibilities:

• Researching the country or region thoroughly and adapting strategies accordingly.
• Liaising with head office and writing up quarterly/annual reports.
• Recruiting, managing, and training the staff.
• Monitoring performance at all levels and scheduling training as required.
• Implementing an effective brand strategy and ensuring consistency.
• Building professional relationships with staff and clients.
• Maintaining a good image of the organization at all times.

Education, Skills & Experience:

• Proven track record as a Country Manager in the African region
• Experience in online sports betting or casino gaming Marketing and business development
• A good knowledge of base of the country/region, and a willingness to learn.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years managing a marketing team
• Experience working in the African market
• Passion for Sport
• Data driven
• Strategic thinker
• Excellent people-management skills
• Experience living abroad is advantageous
• Sensitivity to different cultural norms.
