Position : Cluster Marketing Coordinator

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Properties: Ramada Resort by Wyndham Dar (139 rooms) & Giraffe Beach Hotel (80 rooms)

Overview:

The Cluster Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing and managing the marketing strategies for both Ramada Resort and Giraffe Beach Hotel. This role is crucial in driving brand visibility, generating revenue, and enhancing guest experience across both properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for both properties, targeting leisure, corporate, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments.
  • Align marketing activities with the business objectives of each hotel.

Digital Marketing:

  • Manage online presence including websites, social media platforms, and email campaigns.
  • Optimize content for SEO and engage in PPC campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance, making necessary adjustments to strategies.

Content Creation & Management:

  • Create and oversee the production of marketing materials, including brochures, banners, and promotional videos.
  • Develop engaging content for social media, websites, and email newsletters.

Brand Management:

  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials for both properties.
  • Collaborate with corporate brand teams to align with global brand standards.

Event Promotion:

  • Promote and market on-property events such as weddings, corporate meetings, and other special events.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create targeted campaigns for specific events and conferences.

Partnerships & Collaborations:

  • Identify and engage in strategic partnerships with local businesses and tourism boards to enhance visibility.
  • Manage relationships with media and PR agencies.

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and insights.
  • Analyze competitor activities and develop counter-strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Reporting & Budgeting:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and prepare regular reports on ROI.
  • Assist in managing the marketing budget for both properties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
